Today’s professionals need to be engaged to perform effectively—and every employee wants to be heard and supported to sustain interest and advance their careers. This is especially true today, with organizations everywhere evolving and redefining themselves—and with employees rethinking their relationships with the world of work.

During this interactive session, we’ll discuss engagement challenges based on recent AMA research including differences among genders in the workplace as they relate to their career growth, promotions, ability to be heard, taking on extra responsibilities, setting boundaries and more.

LAUREN MCNALLY is the Director of the American Management Association's Women's Leadership Center (WLC), providing professional women leading content and development programs that position them for ongoing growth. Lauren is energized by supporting organizations that are working to develop women for future advancement through community and meaningful education. Lauren speaks on topics for women and diversity, equity and inclusion and prior to coming to AMA, Lauren led marketing efforts for the National Association of Professional Women and Professional Diversity Network.

This event is hosted by the Professional Development Committee, held for the benefit of its members. The registration fee paid is based on the registrant's ability to commit to attendance, ahead of time. The registration fee will not be refunded for any reason, other than event cancellation, after normal business hours (5:00 PM, Central) on the registration deadline day. The PMI - Minnesota Chapter Professional Development Committee reserves the right to make last-minute changes to program content and speakers, as circumstances dictate.
