Dinner: From Boots to Business: Empowering Veteran Transitions & Navigating Federal Layoffs

Join us for a powerful and timely panel discussion designed to support two critical communities.

- Veterans transitioning to civilian careers

- Federal employees impacted by recent layoffs

This event offers a dual focus—honoring the journey of our service members while addressing the urgent needs of those navigating career uncertainty in the federal workforce.

In today’s shifting landscape, both veterans returning to civilian life and federal employees facing potential layoffs confront a daunting challenge: reinvention. From Boots to Business is a dynamic and timely event designed to address the intersection of two critical realities, post-deployment reintegration and the rising tide of federal workforce reductions.

This panel-driven conversation will explore the practical, emotional, and strategic aspects of transitioning from service or federal employment into new roles, industries, or entrepreneurial ventures. Attendees will hear firsthand stories of resilience, discover key resources for career pivots, and gain insight into workforce trends that affect veterans and government professionals alike.

Whether you’re navigating a personal transition, supporting others in their journey, or shaping policy and workforce development programs, this event offers actionable insights and a powerful community of support.

If you’re in transition, helping others find their next step, or involved in workforce development or policy, this event will equip you with the tools and inspiration to move forward with clarity and confidence.
