Signal over Noise: Adaptive Leadership and Metrics that Matter

Mike Stuedemann

In uncertain environments, projects rarely fail without warning—the signals are there, but often buried under noise, bias, and delayed reporting. This session shows how project leaders can combine adaptive leadership with lightweight project analytics to detect risk earlier and make faster decisions with imperfect information. Participants will learn which indicators matter most, how to build simple “early warning” dashboards without heavy tools, and how to use data to improve alignment, trust, and stakeholder decision-making. The focus is actionable metrics, not bureaucracy.
