You're invited to PMI MN's virtual Diversity and Inclusion Event to celebrate PRIDE with the LGBTQ+ community!

The is a great opportunity to hear from LGBTQ+ advocates and Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal Pride honorees. They will share their stories and work they have accomplished to advance equality and inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community. The discussion will focus on promoting diversity by leaders and how that encourages better project outcomes vis-a-vis employee satisfaction, retention and team results.

Honoree Guests & Speakers:

CB Baga, Associate at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath and Founder of the Trans Legal Clinic

CB is an associate at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath and the founder of the Trans Legal Clinic, which is a partnership between the Volunteer Lawyers Network and Family Tree Clinic. Their pro bono and community services work outside of the LGBTQ Clinic has included high profile tenant advocacy impact litigation, social security appeals, and orders for protection. CB’s trial practice focuses on resolving complex commercial disputes by focusing on the advantage that can be gained for clients, with emphasis on risk management, trade secret and non-compete litigation, insurance, and complex contract disputes.

Moderator - Manish Kalra , Program Manager at Fairview 

Manish works as an IT Program Manager at M Health Fairview. He also serves on several Non profit boards in twin cities where he works as a fierce LGBTQ advocate. Manish is the Director of Finance at PMI-MN . Prior to joining Fairview, he worked at HealthPartners where he started the LGBTQ Business Engagement Network which worked tirelessly to advance the equality and inclusion of LGBTQ employees and members. Manish is also a PMI MN Board Member and Director of Finance. He was the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal "Business of Pride" 2019 honoree.




Chad Kampe, Owner & Director of Flip Phone Events

Chad is the Owner and Director of Flip Phone Events. Flip Phone Events is an LGBTQ events & experience company that produces thirty events per month. These events include drag brunches at Union Rooftop, dance parties at First Avenue, and bar crawls around Minneapolis. Flip Phone works closely with local nonprofits; in 2019 Flip Phone raised over $100,000 for OutFront at drag brunches. In addition to local events, Flip Phone produced two soldout Golden Fans at Sea: Golden Girls Tribute Cruises in 2020. Chad graduated from Macalester College and Columbia University and is co-chair of Family Tree Clinic's Capital Campaign. Chad is also a board member of Drag Out The Vote.



Patrick Puckett, User Experience Lead with U.S. Bank

Patrick is a User Experience Lead with U.S. Bank, supporting their Retail Payment Solutions business. He joined the board of the bank's Spectrum LGBTQ business resource group in 2018, where he played an important role in bringing the Legacy Wall to the Twin Cities in 2019. It was the first time the exhibit had ever been hosted in Minnesota. Before joining U.S. Bank, he worked at Discover Financial Services in Chicago, IL, where he served on the board of the Discover Abilities employee resource group. Universal design and equal access continue to be key focuses of his career. He is a singing member and co-production committee chair of the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus, and the Treasurer of the Govenaires Performing Arts Association.


Dr. Richard Senese, President of Capella University

Dr. Richard (Dick) Senese serves as the President of Capella University. Prior to returning to Capella in 2014, Dr. Senese served in leadership roles with the University of Minnesota Extension for 13 years. He most recently served as the Extension's Senior Associate Dean, where he oversaw research, program evaluation, international partnerships, and faculty development, among other responsibilities. Prior to his promotion to Senior Associate Dean, he served as the founding Associate Dean for the Center for Community Vitality. He has taught at a number of Minnesota-based institutions, including St. Olaf College, Metropolitan State University, and the College of St. Scholastica, and served previously as the Associate Dean for Capella University's Harold Abel School of Psychology. Dr. Senese received his PhD from the University of Minnesota through the Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology program with the Department of Educational Psychology. He is a licensed psychologist and active in community affairs in his native Minnesota.

Zaylore Stout, Founder of Zaylore Stout & Associates, LLC

Zaylore serves as a fierce advocate on LGBT issues through his law firm, Zaylore Stout & Associates, LLC. Zaylor has represented HIV+ and transgender employees who were discriminated against at work. Additionally, Zaylore volunteers through the LGBT Law Clinic and serves on the board for RECLAIM, an LGBTQIA+ nonprofit and Quorum, the Twin Cities LGBTQ+ and Allied Chamber of Commerce. He also championed the passage of their Gender Inclusion Policy to protect transgender and gender non-conforming youth in schools. In November 2017, Zaylor gave an impassioned speech at the Quorum’s National Coming Out Day Luncheon alongside Judy Shepard. His law firm was recently selected by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal for their "Business of Pride" award. Zaylore has been on the cover of Lavender Magazine and in 2019 published his first book, Our Gay History in Fifty States, which has been approved by the State of Illinois for teaching their LGBTQ+ curriculum.

Seth Viebrock, CEO & Founder of O8

Seth is the CEO and Founder of O8, a webdesign company that crafts digital experiences. Seth started his first company at the age of 16 and O8 in 2010. Seth has built websites for celebrity artists including Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey in addition to leading a team as CTO at a social network startup company. Additionally, Seth co-presented at Stanford and the International Society for Neuronal Regulation Conference on an EEG study in consciousness, travelled to Tokyo for data center network security assessments, worked on world-class e-commerce software as a software engineer, and provided Drupal expertise for Estee Lauder and their many international brands. Seth has a degree in Economics from Macalester College and currently studies neuromarketing, digital psychology, and persuasion at the CXL Institute. Seth speaks seven languages and has a background in the arts and humanities.

Rebecca Waggoner, Executive Director at Quorum

Rebecca Waggoner is an innovative nonprofit leader with outstanding communication, training/facilitation, and program management skills. She has a deep commitment to developing and implementing effective strategies to improve social, political and economic climates for LGBTQ+ and Allied individuals and organizations. She has worked at every level of program development/management with community-based programs for over 20 years. Previously the Director of the Anti-Violence Program at OutFront Minnesota, she is currently the Executive Director of Quorum, Minnesota’s LGBTQ+ and Allied Chamber of Commerce. Her work to drive diversity and inclusion, corporate supplier diversity efforts, and supply chain innovation highlights  her deep commitment to creating true economic opportunity and equitable workplaces for LGBTQ+ and Allied business owners/employees, corporate partners, and others impacted by the LGBTQ+ and Allied business community. She serves on the Chapter Leaders team for Gay for Good Twin Cities (G4G).  An avid (albeit rather unsuccessful) gardener, Rebecca lives in South Minneapolis with her wife Kay, two sons, four cats and a retired greyhound named Atom.
