Join us for our FREE Virtual April Chapter Dinner, a panel discussion on managing the COVID-19 pandemic.

This session will feature a panel discussion with 5 prominent healthcare executives, answering questions on what they learned and how they managed through the COVID-19 pandemic. The session will focus on the innovation opportunities presented by COVID-19 and underlying issues uncovered in the process. The panel will feature medical providers, technology leaders and clinical leaders from leading healthcare systems, and will be jointly moderated by Manish Kalra (Chief Operating Officer, PMI MN) and Brantlee Underhill (Global Managing Director, PMI). 


  • Beth Heinly-Munk, MS, RN, R-CVT is the nursing director for critical and progressive care at a large urban trauma hospital in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area.
  • Amit Rana, MD, MS is a Trauma Critical Care surgeon and a technology-driven healthcare executive who had the privilege to train and work in academic hospitals, trauma centers, digital health and universities in Australia, India, Europe, Canada and US.
  • Michael O'Connor is the Director Strategy and Project Management with Medtronic Corporate Science and Technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota (18+ years at Medtronic).
  • Susan Pleasants, MD MBA is the Chief Medical Informatics Officer and Vice President for Informatics at M Health Fairview, a 12 hospital, 56 clinic, 34,000 employee health system in Minnesota.
  • Julie Flaschenriem is a patient-centered Healthcare CIO (Hennepin Healthcare) with a reputation for leading enterprise-level business transformation and leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes and reduce the total cost of care.
