Collaborative Communications (CC) in a Hybrid Online Work Environment discusses the differences in communicating online vs in person and demonstrates how high functioning teams are more efficient with online tools. Different approaches need to be taken to engage your audience and share your emotional connection with them.

The presentation will highlight the need for CC, basic online communication strategies, and demonstrate how a Project Manager and organization can use MS Teams/SharePoint/OneNote/Outlook, and other tools, most effectively for CC.

Peter Loring , Harvard Bioscience | Program Manager

Peter is a Program Manager at Harvard Bioscience. Senior product developer with extensive experience leading development teams to create complex products. Specifically, he has over 20 years of experience in new product development, 7 within medical device.

A creative leader, improving out comes and productivity by focusing on project organization, team engagement, and collaborative communications. Peter is recognized as a leader in collaborative communication (CC) within hybrid/online work environments and has trained several global teams in multiple corporations. His interest in CC started when he was a Technical Liaison for New Product Development and Manufacturing. In that role he introduced a visual method of taking design review meeting minutes that simplified information sharing and provided a way to quantify design recommendations into cost avoidance. Since that time Peter has continued to develop CC practices that improve the process of sharing information with project teams and leadership. He is currently conducting workshops in CC at the project manager level within Harvard Bioscience.
