Candida Tocci, BA, PMP®, Past President, PMI Southern Alberta

Candida Tocci B.A., PMP®, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada is a senior leader with over 20 years of experience directing. coaching, mentoring, and inspiring people. She has dedicated years delivering value to organizations both in the private and public sector. Her passion and commitment to building stronger, better communities has led her to create initiatives and programs that have made a difference within the community globally, nationally and locally as a whole. Her focus is helping and supporting women so together we can support and lift each other up. Her work has led her to start up WomenIN that creates a supporting, belonging and resilient community and a future of opportunity for all. As a global thinker, Candida has held many leadership roles and sees no boundaries within the fast-paced world that unites us to work smarter and collaborate harder. She also loves to work in the strategic foresight realm to see what drives future trends and what is needed to become more of a mobilizing society.

Candida is a Project Management Consultant, founder of WomenIN and currently is the president of PMI Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary and Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification holder and started volunteering with PMI-SAC in 2005. She held many board positions such as creating and implementing the VP Volunteer board role, VP Marketing and Sponsorship and finally realizing her dream to be president of the Chapter. In 2024, Candida completed a 2 year term (4 years) as President of PMI-SAC and currently sits on the board as Past President

When not working or giving back to the community, Candida loves to spend time at her home in Italy, cooking old Italian recipes, reading by the beach and most of all spending time with family and friends.
