We live in an ever-changing world… changing company objectives, layoffs, restructures, project cancellations, leadership changes, even geopolitics.
It is natural to feel that the world is controlling us, that we are overwhelmed and burnt out by the lack of choice we have in the decisions being made around us. And so, as humans, of course we react. We may become angry, resentful & blame others for outcomes. Or perhaps we withdraw inward, questioning what the change says about us and our future, becoming fearful, carrying guilt for those impacted.
During every change, there are choices and decisions to be made, and sometimes we can't or don't want to see them. Other times, we think we are consciously choosing, but it is our past, our fears, our worries that ACTUALLY choose for us. True Choice and Response-Ability is empowering. YOU have the opportunity to reshape your attitudes and worldview … even if your current situation doesn't change.
